COVID in Pelmo under control

It looks like the outbreak of COVID in Pelmo is subsiding. Last week, there had been 17 new cases in the neighbourhood in the previous 21 days. That number has now dropped to 11. (It is impossible to parse the data precisely, because a case that happened 14 days ago, for example, would be counted in both statistics.)

It’s no time to relax, however. The northwest corner of the city continues to be hit at a much higher rate than elsewhere. There have about four times as many new cases in Pelmo Park–Humberlea and twice as many in Weston as in the city as a whole.

Despite a request from the councillor, the province mobile testing unit to our neighbourhood. It was, however, brought to Jane and Finch neighbourhood.
