Monday, November 28, 2011: Unison Community Night, 1541 Jane Street, 5-8 pm

Unison has planned a community nights to engage with community members. For community members, it’s an opportunity to make their voices heard, get information about neighbourhood resources, talk about community issues, and spend a great night in a company of neighbours.  Activities to include: Open House that will feature Unison program and services as well as other resources available in the community, music and entertainment, fun activities for both children and adults, including Zumba workshop, drumming circle and face-painting, prize draw, light meal and community dialogues about neighbourhood priorities.   For more information contact Oleksandra Budna at (416) 587-8225 or oleksandra.budna@unisonhcs.org

 

 

Tuesday, November 29: CP Holiday Train, Lambton Yard (750 Runnymede Rd) 6:15pm – 7:15pm:

The CP Holiday Train will be visiting York South-Weston on at the. Parking only at Wal-Mart parking lot.

Join Toronto Police Constable Jim Lambe for an informative presentation on personal safety. Learn how to protect yourself against fraud, telephone scams, identity theft and other threats.
