Community Meeting on proposed landscaping work along the railway corridor, from Nickle Street to Victoria Boulevard

Monday, July 14, 2014 7pm
The Learning Enrichment Foundation (1267 Weston Road)

At the request of the Mount Dennis Community Association, the City of Toronto and Metrolinx have been looking at options for accommodating space in this laneway for planting. Transportation Services has identified 17 locations along the laneway for tree planting, and the opportunity for additional planting at the ends of Mahoney Avenue and Craydon Avenue. Metrolinx is proposing to plant a “green wall” along the new noise walls, by way of vines. This meeting is being held to present the proposed plans to the community and obtain feedback.
