Frances Nunziata votes against bike lanes

I can’t say I am surprised, but I am disappointed. Frances Nunziata joined a majority of councillors and the Ford administration to remove the bike lanes on Jarvis St.

The bike lanes, which will cost $300,000 to remove, cost $86,000 to install.

  1. What stupidity. That money couldn’t finally re paved Maple Leaf Dr! It’s terrible. I honestly can’t believe that what these people on taxpayers dime are doing!

  2. This is just stupid: sure, let’s spend extra money to get rid of something that helps people get around the city.

Oh, I know, you can’t read while you’re on a bike; you need a big fancy gas-guzzling monster.

  3. Lets just hope the good folks of Weston vote her out next time. How and why does she keep getting elected?

  4. You may have noticed all those red ACORN shirts around town during last election knocking on doors to get out the vote. That brought Nunziata within 500some votes of losing her seat – 1st time ever that close. Those votes went to someone who put up signs during latter part of campaign – wonder why she opted in and under whose encouragement?!! Anybody know?
