Frontlines seeking Aviva grants

Frontlines is applying for an Aviva community grant for their Front Burner culinary program for youth. The program

is a culinary training and job placement program for unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 29 who face barriers to employment. Youth gain job ready skills to work in the ever-growing and exciting food service sector. They obtain hands on experience; learning basic cooking skills such as menu planning, baking, food safety, food security, nutrition, measurements and much more.

Aviva will be donating $1 million to 30 projects, giving up to $100,000 to each. Vote here.
