‘Gangsters’ found guilty

Four men have been found guilty of gangsterism in Weston. But the gangsters were more The Wire than The Sopranos, according to The Star.

“None of them could afford a car,” she said. “They were on the wires a number of times talking about what bus they were on and what stop they were getting off. They were living in conditions of poverty.”

The men found guilty were members of the ‘Five Point Generalz’, a gang that has been dismantled over the past decade. They may be among the last.

They were arrested in 2010 and have been in jail since then. The Crown is seeking jail time.
