GO to reveal trackside art tomorrow

Tomorrow GO transit will be unveiling a mural on the hoarding being built beside the new tracks. The art, which was developed in consultation with the community, but which had been kept secret, will be revealed tomorrow at noon at the Farmers’ Market.

  1. Wouldn’t it be nice if they could reveal the closures to pedestrians in advance, as now you can’t cross the tracks at King At on foot: the detour to the library is a task in this weather.

The whole thing is making a mess of Weston and moving around, by car, on foot, on the bus; we are disposable, ignorable apparently.

    I have a vote.

  2. Totally agree with the above comment..I expect a nice paved road on Rosemont after all this mess!

  3. I live on Rosemount and actually preferred it when it was torn up and covered in gravel; it kept the people who cut through the neighbourhood driving slowly. Once it’s all done and nicely paved I think it’s time for some speed control measures.
