InsideToronto has an article with a bit more context on the potential closing of the Weston Village Childcare.
Cross, who has worked in childcare for almost 31 years, 24 of them at Weston Village Childcare, said she’s unsure what she’ll do once the daycare shuts.
“I’m going to see this until the end,” she said. “I’m the captain of the ship.”
Cross said she had hoped the daycare, which cares for children aged 18 months to nine years, could stay in the community, but hasn’t had luck finding a suitable spot.
