It’s not an invasion

If you see a helicopter buzzing Weston and police storming the St John the Evangelist school, don’t panic. It’s all planned, and there is no crisis.

The helicopter has been hired by Metrolinx to survey the tracks. It will fly quite low, twice, over the whole line. The first time it will get down to 100 metres; the second time it will be at 165 metres.

The tactical squad of police are using the school for training while it unoccupied.

  1. So much excitement … Any reasons for choosing Weston, I wonder? Or for a helicopter check? Our tax dollars bringing action to our neighbourhood!
