Local gangs announce phones-for-guns drive

Local gangs have announced a phones-for-guns drive. Members of the population and  police are encouraged to drop off their guns—no questions asked—in exchange for a stolen phone.

The gangs say that they will take any gun or ammunition, in any condition. In exchange they are offering phones of varying condition and worth taken from local youth. Residents dropping off a Glock, for instance, can exchange it for an iPhone, two Androids, or a handful of Blackberrys.

The press release emphasized that no questions will be asked—by either party. If you are interested in participating, you can meet your local hoodlum underneath any pair of sneakers dangling from the telephone wires.
