Long crime-free streak ends

All good things must end, and the long streak of quiet has ended in Weston. According to Toronto Police, a 37-year-old man reports that three men armed with handguns broke into his apartment at Oak St and Weston Road when he answered the door. They demanded his money and stole his jewellery, money, iPhone, and keys. The victim was uninjured.

  1. It’s so sad that anyone has to endure this experience. We need to “be aware of our surroundings” as the police are always reminding us, but not just for our own safety but to help keep everyone safe.

This is our neighbourhood and we are all in this together.
