Losing office space at Weston and Lawrence

Read this post aloud

The owners of the business complex and residential building above the RBC at Weston and Lawrence (1906 Weston Rd) are asking for permission to convert “the existing commercial space on the second floor into 10 new residential units and to create three new residential units on the 13th floor.”

The building will contain a total of 123 residential units.

There will be a hearing this week, on November 23.

It’s a bit of a shame that Weston continues to lose white-collar business space, if you ask me.

  1. Good photo of this long standing high rise complex, Adam.

Now, imagine & consider the newly proposed 29 story x2 development to be built just up the street from there.

That Westlaw building & ground level stores in your photo will look like a “detached home” in contrast.
