Mark Moore, the accused murderer of two Westonians and two Torontonians has stopped coming to his own trial, according to Christie Blatchford, who is covering the story for the National Post.
Evidence of Moore’s guilt, she says, has nonetheless been presented in court. Moore incriminated himself on monitored prison telephone lines in conversations with his mother and girlfriend when police baited him by saying they were searching for a car matching the description of his own:
“I told once don’t talk my bis and u telling my dukes [slang for parents] dat I do shooting r u fukin crazey loose lips,” a raging Mr. Moore texted Tassandra Whyte.
Moore’s trial will last several more weeks.
