Metrolinx’s new problem: hiring big

Metrolinx is catching heat from the National Post for having such huge contracts that local businesses can’t get in on the action. It’s an interesting read—and a particularly sharp critique coming, as it does, from the most pro-business paper in the country:

“We started moving further and further away from good construction practices to simply making bigger and bigger projects so that the bankers and the financiers could make their profits,” says Mr. Thurston.
