Oil change, bank  planned near Loblaws

The Loblaws mothership has applied to build a financial institution and an auto repair shop  (or, likely, an oil change facility) on the Superstore parking lot.

The buildings would be on the Oak St side of the parking lot, near the gas bar, which your humble correspondent does find to be generally very empty.

The architectural designs, however, are hardly inspiring. They seem to resemble quite typical suburban strip-mall buildings.

  1. Applied to add more suburban blight to the edge of Weston and is there any way to object?

    1. I like this development. I am all for more businesses at weston rd and 401 that people actually use!!!

      1. It’s not the development but the ugliness of the strip mall design: some green, some trees, some space that isn’t concrete would go a long way.
