Options For Homes update.

Options For Homes is a non-profit condo developer with a building called ‘The Humber‘ under construction at 10 Wilby Crescent in Weston. To say that they are bullish on Weston is a bit of an understatement but they have a history of choosing and building in ‘up and coming’ neighbourhoods, calling themselves urban pioneers. Here is their take on the Weston neighbourhood.

The building is expected to open in late 2021. According to OFH, over 120 people have purchased an apartment in the Wilby condo and the building is 50% sold. Options says it’s a good time to buy.

    I been waiting for over 20 years for Weston to change….still waiting….seen it get worse by all accounts, not matter how much some try to spin it.

  2. I lived in Weston all my life and it took a very long time, but I finally moved mid town on Wilson Ave & finally got out Weston. I agreed with earlier comment living in Weston has never change..there’s no walking distance to grocery stores, all banks are gone..more rentals more crowded traffic, and the Weston 89 bus! the worst in the city. I don’t how anyone would consider to move to this place.

  3. I purchased a unit at The Humber, I currently live in the community and I have no complaints. The Weston area has soo much to offer. With that being said to annoymous1 “Rome wasn’t built in a day” . And to Mel congratulations on moving to Midtown making room for those who see the potential in the Weston neighborhood and decided to buy a unit at the development. And to answer your question “WHO WOULD CONSIDER TO MOVE TO THIS PLACE”. I DID and over 120 other families. Enjoy midtown living!
