Paper crane challenge

The Weston Public Library is trying to fold 1000 paper cranes before the end of the month, and they would like your (or your kids’) help. It sounds like fun:

In honour of Asian Heritage Month, Weston Branch is attempting to make 1000 origami paper cranes. An ancient Japanese legend narrates that those who makes 1000 paper cranes will be granted a wish by the Gods. While we may not be able to be granted a wish, it certainly would make for an eye-catching display!

Drop in after school between 4:00-5:30 pm Monday through Friday and learn how to fold a paper crane. Challenge ends on Tuesday May 31st.
