P&M’s wins award

P&M’s, my favourite restaurant, won a nod from the GridTO as one of the best greasy spoons in Toronto. Good on them. A few weeks ago, BlogTO suggested Mount Dennis as a cool place to visit this summer. Perhaps the hood is getting some love from the young alt-media?

  1. “The ‘hood”, brilliant, Adam I think you have found the best marketing tool for this area. What self respecting, young, middle class, white doesn’t want to be a homie on the weekend? Seriously, this could be the rebirth of this area.

  2. Once a friend asked to take me out for dinner for my birthday. Much to her surprise I picked P & M Burger. She said, “Where is that?” I told her in Weston where I grew up. I have been going there since Frank and I were both kids and they had orange swivel chairs at the counter.

Bravo on winning the award Frank and Nicki!
I’ve known you were one of the best greasy spoons for ages!
