Police seeking man linked by DNA to 3 assaults

The police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who has been linked by DNA to three sexual assaults, including one in the Mount Dennis area.

He is alleged to have committed two other sexual assaults since 2015 in Collingwood and Toronto.

On Monday,  a 28-year-old woman had ordered a ride-share service at about 10:25 p.m. to pick her up on the Lakeshore. The man who picked her up, who was not working for the ride-share company, led her to believe he was her driver. He then took her to a parking lot in the Jane and Eglinton area and sexually assaulted her. He then sped away. He is “25-35, brown complexion, approximately 5’7” – 5’9”, with a small build, and a short beard”. He “suffered an injury to his eye during the sexual assault.”

The same suspect is alleged to have assaulted a 17-year-old girl on January 1, 2017, in Collingwood, and a 23-year-old woman on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Toronto.

The police have released composite sketches of the man.
