Real estate: Huge gains, still—relatively—cheap

Scott Ingram, who writes some really great stuff on Toronto real estate, has an extensive post on the cheapest and most expensive areas of Toronto.

Mount Dennis gets extensive coverage. The neighbourhood is the most affordable in Toronto, despite seeing recent huge price increases. Weston, too, remains relatively inexpensive, but I mean “relatively” literally there. The average price of a detached home in Mount Dennis is (was) $795,000 and was nearly $900,000 in Weston.

His post is well worth a read.

  1. Yes. Many of these areas have beautiful pockets of lovely homes. Many are undervalued and definitely hidden gems.
