Rosemount to likely get lower speed limits

Frances Nunziata is asking the city to lower the speed limit to 30km/h on all of Rosemount. The issue will be considered on February 23 at the Etobicoke York Community Council.

Presently, the southern section of Rosemount has a limit of 30, but north of Church, cars can go 40. Nunziata has received a petition asking for that to be changed; she says that the Transportation Department is on board with lowering it.

  1. What is are well-funded police doing? What ever happen speed traps? I remember them we had lots of them in neighourhood years ago. I agree speed is issue on that street but I would try to go with a 3 way stop sign at Josept St. first.
