Swift arrest of not swift robbers

Police have arrested a man for allegedly robbing a  restaurant on Weston Road. The arrest was made swiftly—because the robbers were stupid and lazy, as, I suppose, robbers tend to be.

According to the police, the Sugar and Spice restaurant at 2183 Weston Rd was robbed at about 6:30 pm. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the 63-year-old employee, while the other robbed the till. The suspects fled.

Well, “fled” might be putting it strongly. CityNews reports that they went down the street—to an apartment, where one of pair was later arrested. Police are searching for the other.

Nobody was injured.

  1. Swiftly, and no IQ test for gun use … with only one of the pair arrested: this is frightening.
