Three found guilty of murder

Three men have been found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of Jarryl Hagley.

Mohamed Ali Nur, Shakiyl Shaw, and Lenneil Shaw murdered Hagley in October 2016 at the Pizza Pizza on Weston Road.

First-degree murder carries a life sentence without parole eligibility for 25 years.

  1. Terrible situation. The victim and his his family , forever affected. The three young men convicted and their family’s , will be forever changed.
    The community hopefully safer after this conviction, as there has to be severe consequences for this total disrespect for life.
    The cost to incarcerate the three men for 75 years (3 x 25 year life sentences, with an annual average cost of $115,000.00) will be about $8,652,000.00 .
    Perhaps some more money can be spared/ allocated to help prevent more senseless violence. Can we afford not to?

    1. Death penalty please. In an open/shut case like this one without any reasonable doubt. Death penalty.
