Time for the monthly gross-out

A couple of surprises in the Toronto Public Health inspection results this month: my three favourite restaurants got dinged.

Wakame Sushi passed, but had a number of warnings: they failed to protect food from contamination, failed to use a cover on the food, and failed to keep non-food contact surfaces clean. They also failed to wash rooms and equipment well. Oh boy.

Tim Horton’s on Lawrence got busted for not ensuring that employees washed their hands, not having soap for employees in the food area, not cleaning food preparation areas, and not having enough cleaning solution for the machinery. They passed, though.

Wendy’s was inspected the same day. They didn’t maintain their equipment well.

Bummer.

  1. That Tim Hortons is always busy and it seems they have too much employees behind the counter..like a lot of commotion. Besides their food is terrible and too bad most of this generation never really taste a really fresh donut.

  2. Tim Horton’s and Wendy’s are two of your favourite restaurants? You must have a thing for apostrophies.
