Tunnel equipment vandalized

Heavy equipment used to build the Weston tunnel was vandalized on Thursday night, according to police.

Some time between 8 pm and 5:30 in the morning, more than $20,000 worth of damage was done to vehicles and machines owned by Kenaidan Contracting.


Four men were held up at gunpoint near Weston and Lawrence at around 4 am on February 24. The suspects robbed the victims of a set of keys, a phone, and their identification. Police are looking for two men.


Telus Mobility was robbed by two men on  February 23 at 3:15 pm. Two suspects wearing disguises, entered the premises and demanded cash and cellular phones. One of them said he had a gun, although he never showed it.  The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, and nobody was injured.  Police are looking for two suspects.
