Vaccinations for 50+

Residents 50+ of north-west Toronto, including Weston and Mount Dennis, can now get vaccinations. The Humber River Hospital is offering the shot at Downsview Arena.

However, no appointments were available the twice I looked, and spots seem to have rapidly filled up. It’s not clear when new spots will be available.

Residents 55 and older can get a shot at a pharmacy.

Thanks to N for the tip.

  1. We called on Friday. Was on hold for 15 mins and have appointments booked for April 17th. Online is not always better. Stay Safe!

  2. Done & done, at Downsview (following a certain amount of persistence and then nailing them down online – for the late morning and then mid-afternoon, a couple of days after booking ‘em).

Impressive setting – very nicely organized with a warm welcome, reception & service.

    Bravo, HRRH!

  3. Unfortunately if you live in Mount Dennis BUT 500 meters south of Eglinton Ave, you do not qualify.

  4. That’s the kind of “fine line” stuff that should change, quickly.

And, makes no more sense than when (for example) an establishment is allowed open on the north side of Steeles Ave., and closed on the southern side.

    Keep trying.
