The Grid, Toronto’s alt-alt-weekly, is asking residents to vote for Toronto’s most underrated and overrated neighbourhoods. Oddly, Weston is on the underrated list—it seems we still have an image problem. Even more oddly, we share the list with The Junction and Roncie neighbourhoods, which, in your humble correspondent’s opinion, are outrageously over-hyped yuppie slums.
Go vote. Show those foppish-haired, tempeh-eating, tight-panted hipsters what underrated really means.
I just discovered this blog about Weston. Thanks for supporting this great area we live in!
A bit harsh towards those other neigbourhoods aren’t we?
Well, sure. But I used to live in them both. They are far from underrated. They’re overrun.
