Weston Historical Society on Facebook and looking good

The Weston Historical Society would like you to know that they’re not at all stuck in the past—they’re going gangbusters on Facebook!

They have a lots of material to peruse, (unfortunately, it seems that you have to be a Facebook member to view it), and they would love your submissions and memories.

  1. The Weston Historical Society has added a new Facebook site, The Weston Annex. This one was started so that PDF files can be uploaded. Much of the focus will be on old copies of yearbooks, and school newsletters from the area schools, but it will include other items from time to time that would be too cumbersome to upload as jpegs (ie – old Moffat Stove Company of Weston cookbooks, or other old publications with a local flavour). The site has just started a couple of weeks ago, so it’s still a work in progress. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1447228342197832/
